Colour

Tivo was being stupid and the pictures were in black and white. It wasn't the TV's fault. Public channels were perfectly fine. If it was, my dad would have a heart attack. Don't know how much he begged Mom to let him buy it. It was a 50+" plasma.

I was watching the news, seeing through the eyes of colourblind people and noticed that you see a lot more details in the absence of colour. I was able to pay more attention to the background.

Yet, colour is such a wondrful thing, too. The hues ares usually more brilliant on the center of attention while the background harmoniously blend in to liven it further.

Still, let's appreciate our base colours today.
